May is a very special month for me. Aside from the fact that this is my birth month, it’s summer too! Pretty amazing huh. So this blog talks about why I was not able to update since I cannot remember the date of my last post. Fast forward to today, I am busy because of few things.

  1. I am a certified business woman now! Yes. I am a business woman now. It’s pretty much related to one thing that I ever loved! Apparels. Yey! I have a new business that’s called Renee’s Closet. It’s formerly known as Dress to Kill but that’s way too overused. I decided to have it named after mine. It’s more of a summer collection. You can check on my Facebook account to see more of it.
  2. I am a weekend warrior at the beach. Thank holy goodness for the weekend rest days! I get to camp at the beach every weekend. Surf. Eat. Read. Sleep. This is an ideal life. So the place I go to is a remote area and the connection is sporadic, I can’t find time to share with you my wonderful experience back there. I will make sure to post pictures soon.
  3. I am reading a lot lately. Sometimes what we need is something that’ll feed our minds and soul. One good thing about the new Blackberry Software Update is that I get to download from amazon.com. That was the reason why I have Our Daily Bread that I, take note, can also set to remind me every end of my shift at work. What a great way to start my day. (My work starts at night and ends in the morning.) I bought 10 new books. I have about 50 eBooks to read. And believe me, this is euphoric and so addicting.

There it goes. These are the things that fill my days. Fill me in with yours.

As part of preparation, I read blogs about this mountain. I read it’s steep, assault, gradual assault, strong wind, but nevertheless, beautiful. This is classified as a Major climb and so major preparation I did. This is my first major climb this year. Definitely, not a bad one to start with.

Welcome to my Tarak adventures.

After approximately 3 hours, we finally touched down the Papaya River. This was where we pitched our tents.

You can also use a filter if you want to use it as a trail water.

The mystical Papaya River. So calming and relaxing view. This can also be a water source for cooking and stuff.

Thank you. We’ll see more this 2015! I wish to grow and have more ideas to share.

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 1,500 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 25 trips to carry that many people.

Read: Exodus 2:2. The scripture talks about The Birth of Moses.

1. Perception for our children. If you perceive something as special, you’re going to take care of it.
2. Protection.
3. Preparation.

For kids;
Honor your parents.
Being smarter doesn’t mean wiser.

For parents;
Guide your children. Perceive for them, protect them and prepare them to see the world.

The Birth of Moses.

I love life. I have never had a reason to hate it.

I grew up in a changing world.  I am always here and there.

I can’t explain how I can be dependent and independent all the same but that is me.

I love making friends with people but I enjoy my time alone.

I love to hang out in a coffee shop with my notebooks, pen and iPad.

I go shopping alone. I go to church alone. Even when I jog. I prefer to be alone.

It makes me think a lot.  I keep a diary too.

I don’t believe in “Diary is for lonely people..” ( From A Diary of a Nymphomaniac) because I am not.

For me, even if you trust your friend your whole life, they can never be good enough to keep their mouth shut. There are only few who you can trust. But again, not everyone is capable of keeping a secret.

One mistake can totally ruin your everything. Not that I keep secrets a lot about myself.  I am actually an open book. Everyone knows my story. But not every single detail of it.

I remember my teacher in one of our subjects. She discussed about the type of listeners. There’s one “Ambush-er” type of listener. So what they do, they listen and they’ll soon to use the information against you.

I hate those kind of people. I used to be that but then I realized it’s better to keep your mouth shut if you can’t say anything good.

I learned the hard way and I swear I will never be that again. 🙂

I am also a traveler. I actually call myself that because this very journey is traveling in time already. I wander in different places with different faces and I am always open to trying new things out. You will discover a lot about yourself and that’s one good thing about it.

You are a free soul and your capacity will not come to an end.

You just need to figure it out. Ciao 🙂

I remember posting about 100 Happy Days. And this is one of the best reason to be happy all the time.

My mom is one of the victims. Lol.
Kidding aside, my mom may or may not have any idea but I really appreciate what she does for me and my kids.

Without her, I don’t know.
Not that my kids are bad or bullies. They are the best. I guess my mom did a great job. Or I did. 😛

“For we are God’s masterpiece.
He has created us anew in Christ Jesus,
so we can do the good things
He planned for us long ago.”
(Ephesians 2:10, NLT)

I am such a bad friend because I forgot the day of his birthday and that I have to be reminded of such. But anyways, we had come up with a decision that we’re going out to eat in a buffet with our friend Ann.

Tick Tock
It’s 8am and we had to wait til it’s 11. We went to Starbucks, which by the way, is almost an extension of our workplace because we go there all the time.

We had a cup of coffee and pc of cakes. It’s a free one for Mark’s birthday. After an hour, headed to SM Megamall.

Vikings that is!

Since everyday is a happy day for me and this #100happydays seems legit, I figured I will try.

It’s just a matter of taking chances and applying what you already practiced.

I listed some of the things we need to have a happy heart and happy days.

1. You may have heard many times over but I will say it again. “You have to let go of the things that’s causing you pain. That is easier said than done but what harm can be done in trying?

2. You may have figured it’s a cliche, but this is worth telling anyway. Follow your heart. It will never lead you to nowhere. Go where there is love. Find a crowd where you are celebrated. Join the club where you feel this belongingness. Do things that keeps you on track. Be wherever you can. Be yourself.

3. Free your self from the things that is keeping you to accomplish what you have to. Be self-centered enough that you always make sure you do things for you as long as you are not hurting anyone. Be bold. Be wise. Be lovable. Be the channel of peace and do good.

4. Do what makes you happy. Be excellent. Be known for something you do with integrity.

You may think we are getting close to perfection but if it can’t be done, it shouldn’t have existed in the first place.

Happiness is the application of democracy to live.
