May is a very special month for me. Aside from the fact that this is my birth month, it’s summer too! Pretty amazing huh. So this blog talks about why I was not able to update since I cannot remember the date of my last post. Fast forward to today, I am busy because of few things.

  1. I am a certified business woman now! Yes. I am a business woman now. It’s pretty much related to one thing that I ever loved! Apparels. Yey! I have a new business that’s called Renee’s Closet. It’s formerly known as Dress to Kill but that’s way too overused. I decided to have it named after mine. It’s more of a summer collection. You can check on my Facebook account to see more of it.
  2. I am a weekend warrior at the beach. Thank holy goodness for the weekend rest days! I get to camp at the beach every weekend. Surf. Eat. Read. Sleep. This is an ideal life. So the place I go to is a remote area and the connection is sporadic, I can’t find time to share with you my wonderful experience back there. I will make sure to post pictures soon.
  3. I am reading a lot lately. Sometimes what we need is something that’ll feed our minds and soul. One good thing about the new Blackberry Software Update is that I get to download from That was the reason why I have Our Daily Bread that I, take note, can also set to remind me every end of my shift at work. What a great way to start my day. (My work starts at night and ends in the morning.) I bought 10 new books. I have about 50 eBooks to read. And believe me, this is euphoric and so addicting.

There it goes. These are the things that fill my days. Fill me in with yours.

..Because books for me are the things you buy and you still feel rich.

Words of Margaux

This one goes to all my bookaholics out there.

I am so inlove with Rush!
I spent 2 days reading these books.

What can I say?
It’s a story of love with twists and turns as usual, but the way Abbi wrote it, It made a lot of difference for me. I fell in love with the characters. It made me ask for more. I even thought I had separation anxiety when I am about to finish reading it. That was kind of exaggerated, I hear ye. 😛

Here are some of my favorite quotes..

“Everyone always says that love was enough. It wasn’t. Not when your soul has been shattered.”

“When you find your reason for living, hold onto it. Never let it go. Even if it means burning other bridges along the way.” ― Abbi Glines, Forever Too Far

“You don’t have to love me. Just don’t leave me,” he said against my leg”
― Abbi Glines, Fallen Too Far

In a week, I have 5 days to work. Aside from being a Technician, I am also a full time mommy. So I get to work at night when they are sleeping. When I come home, they go to school.

Friday I am in love! And yes I am because it means I get to rest and be lethargic.

I will watch movies.. Of course. It’s rest day, it’s as good as saying “It’s torrent day!” Yay! That sounds illegal but fun.

On my bucket list I have: You’ve got mail, My Bosses Daughter, Endless Love, The Words..

  • You’ve got mail. According to Wikipedia, the movie is a 1998 American romantic comedy film directed by Nora Ephron, starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. It was written by Nora and Delia Ephron based on the 1937[2] play Parfumerie by Miklós László. The film is about two e-mailing lovers who are completely unaware that their sweetheart is, in fact, a person with whom they share a degree of animosity. Trailer down there. Sorry I am too lazy to use my own words. Wiki made it easier for me. Told ya’ it’s lazy day!

  • My Bosses Daughter. I love Ashton! I mean who doesn’t? So what’s it all about? I am only guessing it has something to do with Ashton who works for a man who ask for a huge favor and he fell in love with the daughter. Or maybe they hook up. Whatever. It makes me kind of excited because it’s Ashton. ❤

  • Endless Love. American Romantic Drama it is! I’m thrilled, can’t wait!

  • The Words. It’s a 2012 mystery romantic drama film. It is about a young unsuccessful author who discovers an old manuscript, is pushed by his girlfriend into publishing it, becomes enormously successful, is later confronted by an old man who is (or in that case, knows) the original author, and then publishes a second book about how this all happened. (

I’ll end this in a quote. Ciao!! 🙂

It’s funny how the colors of the real world only seem really real when you watch them on a screen.”
― Anthony Burgess

I have quite a few eh and I still can’t find time to read ’em.

First, I am excited to attend the service. I am preoccupied with longing for God’s word.

Second, I still have one more shift til I get to rest.
Third, I am addicted to ebooks.

As much as I want to read the traditional way, (reading a book with paperbacks in your favorite spot) I just can’t start it, I don’t know why.

My friend gave me these books. Actually, the Pag-Ibig Thingy and Self-help book are new, I bought them just last month. The Nicholas Sparks‘ were given as a gift from a dear friend. The two others, Life of Pi and The curious incident of the dog in the night-time are just some-things borrowed. My precious friend who actually gave me the Sparks’ book and who lend me the two others, is just one person. Very generous and kind.

So I cannot actually give you some insights about the books yet.
But I will. Soon.

Good friends, good books, and a sleepy conscience: this is the ideal life.
